2026 2nd International Conference on Power Systems, Smart Grid, and Artificial Intelligence

Against the background of carbon-peaking and carbon-neutrality goals, distribution networks witness massive integration of diverse distributed resources, with distributed energy storage as the core, including distributed photovoltaics, V2G electric vehicles, and flexible controllable loads. These resources are geographically dispersed with multi-stakeholder ownership and diverse dynamic characteristics, which introduce severe challenges such as voltage violations, feeder congestion and spatiotemporal source-load imbalance. Effective aggregation, coordinated regulation and optimal planning of distributed resources become critical for improving distribution-system flexibility and local renewable-energy accommodation.
This special session focuses on distribution-network flexible distributed resources centered on distributed energy storage. It brings together latest theoretical advances and engineering practices from universities, power research institutes and industry. Topics cover aggregation modelling, coordinated control, planning configuration, market mechanism, intelligent algorithms and practical demonstrations. This session intends to provide theoretical and technical support for large-scale, safe and efficient deployment of distributed resources in novel distribution networks.
